Gràcia- tip: Muguet Floristeria

I det superhyggelige Gràcia-kvartér ligger én af mine absolutte yndlingsbutikker: Muguet Floristeria. Spanierne har generelt ikke samme tradition for blomster og boligindretning, som vi danskere har, eller helt samme smag for den sags skyld. Men Muguet ligger faktisk tæt på en nordisk æstetik, og det er som at træde ind i en verden af underfundighed og skønhed på samme tid.

Jeg kan bruge oceaner af tid på at kigge på de smukke og filurlige blomsteropsætninger, små vaser, potter og blomsterpynt. Butikken er ikke stor, men har alligevel små kroge og hjørner, hvor blomster m.m. er opstillet med sikker hånd – og naturligvis i forhold til sæson og højtider. Ikke sjældent kalder det også på smilet, som når vinduet på humoristisk vis til San Valentin er dekoreret med kaktusser og titlen: “Love hurts”. Eller hvad siger du til dinosaurusser som julepynt?

“Make your flowers come true” står der bøjet i neon på en væg i butikken, og det er præcis det, Muguet Floristeria gør! Butikken er en våd blomsterdrøm! Er jeg i nærheden, kigger jeg altid ind i butikken. Der er masser af inspiration at hente, og jeg kommer stort set altid derfra med et eller andet – er efterhånden ved at have en hel samling af de smukke porcelænsdyrehoveder som vaser.

Jeg er vild med Muguet Floristeria, så der kommer en helt klar anbefaling herfra. Kig ind i den smukke butik, en verden fuld af blomster og firlurligheder, og du kommer garanteret ud derfra med et eller andet, om ikke andet en masse sanseindtryk.

In the cozy neighborhood of Gràcia is located one of my absolute favorite shops: Muguet Floristeria. The Spaniards in general do not have the same tradition for flowers and decor as us Danes, or the same taste for that matter. But Muguet is actually close to a Nordic aesthetic, and the shop is like entering a world of subtlety and beauty at the same time.

I can use a lot of time in the shop just looking at the beautiful flower arrangements, small vases, pots and floral ornaments. The store is small, but filled with tables and shelves, where flowers are exhibited with stile – and of course in according to season and holidays. It often done in a humorous way, ex. decorating the windows to San Valentin with cacti and the title: “Love hurts”. Or, what about dinosaurs like Christmas decorations?

“Make your flowers come true” says letters in the neon on a wall in the store, and that is exactly what Muguet Floristeria does! The shop is a flower dream come true! If I’m nearby, I always pass by the shop. For at splash of beauty, some inspiration or to pick up something – somehow I find myself having a small collection of beautiful porcelain animal heads as vases.

I’m just love Muguet Floristeria, so they have my warmest recommendation. Do pass by and take a look at the beautiful shop, it’s a world full of flowers and quirkies, and you’ll surely leave the shop with someting, if nothing else but a lot of impressions.
