La Cala er det sødeste lille sted i Barceloneta til at få en bid morgenmad eller en kaffe med lidt sødt. Du får her de lækreste donuts, kager, toasts, bowls, sandwich m.m. samt juice, kaffe og te. Caféen en lille, men hyggelig, og der hersker en positiv, nærmest familiær stemning.
Selve caféen har ikke mange siddepladser, men til gengæld har den en fin og hyggelig terrasse udenfor. Her kan du nyde solen og udsigten over mod havnen, og da caféen ligger lidt gemt væk i en krog, ja så er du også væk fra Barcelonetas turiststrøm. Det er for mig med til at gøre La Cala til en lille perle, en lille oase og et perfekt sted til en lidt morgenmad søndag morgen. Prøv endelig deres fyldte donuts!

La Cala is the cutest little place in Barceloneta where you can have a nice breakfast or just a coffee and cake. Here you will find the most delicious donuts, cakes, toasts, bowls, sandwiches and more as well as juice, coffee and tea. The café is a bit tiny but nice and there is a positive atmosphere there.
The cafe itself does not have many seatings, but it doesn’t matter, outside you will find a cozy and nice terrace. Here you can enjoy the sun and the view to the harbor, and since the cafe is hidden away in a corner of Barceloneta, you are away from most of the tourists. For me, this makes La Cala a little gem, a little haven and a perfect place for a breakfast on a Sunday morning. Do try their stuffed donuts!
