Jeg indrømmer det gerne: jeg er lidt af en pomfrit-pige! De skal bare smage af kartofler. Derfor måtte jeg også lige forbi den lille pomfrit-butik nede Barcelonetas havnepromenade: Joan Borbon. Konceptet er simpelt: hjemmelavede pomfritter med diverse tilbehør og topping, alt sammen i høj kvalitet, gerne økologisk og til rimelige priser. Det er lokalt, ikke-industrielt og ganske lækkert.
Bestil hvad du kunne tænke dig: bacon, ost, butifarra (en slags medisterpølse) eller en klassisk med majonæse? Du bestemmer, og det laves med det samme. Tag så dine pomfritter med dig, find en bænk med udsigt ud over havnen og MontJüic eller find et sted nede ved stranden og enjoy!

I’m not afraid to admit it: I’m a french fries kind of girl! They just have to taste like potatoes. That’s why I had to pass by the small french fries shop in Joan Borbon at the Barceloneta side of the harbor. The concept is simple: homemade french fries with various accompaniments and toppings, all in high quality, preferably ecological and at reasonable prices. It’s local, non-industrial and quite delicious.
Order what you would like: bacon, cheese, butifarra (sausage) or a classic with mayonnaise? You decide and they will make your order immediately. Grap your french fries and find a bench overlooking the harbor and MontJüic or find a place down by the beach and just enjoy!
